A new Benjamin Myers essay appears in this beautifully designed exhibition catalogue featuring a carefully curated selection of the visual works of art by Stanley Donwood and Thom Yorke made over the last thirty years to accompany albums by Radiohead, Yorke and The Smile.

It showcases the wide array of their long-term collaborative work, ranging from well-known digital compositions of the OK Computer era to recent tempera paintings, from iconic etchings to unpublished drawings in their sketchbooks.

The high-quality reproductions are complemented by exclusive interviews with the artists, and essays by Alex Farquharson, Nico Kos Earle, James Putnam, Mark Radcliffe and Jennifer Ramkalawon.

Published on the occasion of a major retrospective exhibition at the Ashmolean in Oxford from 6th August until 11th January 2026, this unique book explores the art of album covers, looking at the creative forces behind some of the most important and influential music of the past few decades.
